The smell is very nice and not too strong. We use it at work and it fills the lobby with its scent but isn't overpowering. We have had it lit through the whole day most of the week and it is still only half burnt and doesn't produce any ash/soot when it is blown out.

My favorite candles. And sad that it hasn&rsquo;t been out in awhile. It has a subtle scent with a beautiful sweet scent. I do not believe it is overpowering.
