completely honest
I'm going to be completely honest, when I seen the name of this candle, I was beyond skeptical! As soon as I seen tomato, my mind automatically jumped to spaghetti or something! I was completely wrong! This scent almost reminds me of nectar, a floral scent. It's not overpowering but a bit mellow. Maybe because it's a smaller candle. I love the wood wick! It's so nice being able to blow out a candle and not getting that overpowering smoke smell! To be honest, it barely produces any smoke once it's blown out! I will say, the wood wick does seem to melt the wax a bit quicker, this can be a pro and a con! The two pictures with the candle lit were taken roughly 6 minutes apart, so that can give you an idea of how fast it melts. All in all, give thus candle a try! You might be surprised!

I love the smell of woodwork Tomato Leaf & Basil candles. Love them so much we got a big and small one. Tomato leaf and basil are my favorite smells so for it to be in a candle was perfect. I recommend it

Stunning with a beautiful scent
I love WoodWick candles in my home. The new Tomato Leaf & Basil is my favorite. It is a wonderful blend of rich and natural ingredients. I love that the essential oils and natural ingredients do not give me headache like some other scents. The beautiful amber glass is a beautiful addition to any room. Another bonus, it’s recycled, and the cork is made from sourced trees. I recently purchased another for an upcoming gift.

So earthy
I am in love with this scent! I've been using this WoodWick candle in the scent Tomato Leaf & Basil everyday, and wow! This scent is so earthy, calming, and just reminds me of walking through a garden that has fruit/vegetables, and herbs. It's not overwhelming, but just enough.
I've actually had guests over, and I ended up making this nice plate of capris salad for everyone (mozzarella, tomato, and basil). I had this candle lit at the center of the table as part of the decor, and it's like the scent of the candle just enhanced our eating experience.
The brown glass container with the tan cork fitted top is the perfect color for this. I've had this candle in my kitchen, and it's just so aesthetically pleasing. Goes with all of my decor (I love the country/shabby chic vibe) and compliments any room I may move it to.

Weak aroma
The good thing is that the container has an amber color that looks elegant and romantic, in addition to the fact that its stick is made of wood, the bad thing is that it does not smell at all or the aroma is so weak that it goes unnoticed.

Fresh fragrant smell!
Wow! This candle is beautiful and smells great. Yankee Candles are just the best and I absolutely love the WoodWick lineup, which burns evenly and smoothly. I like that this candle is made with upcycled materials and essential oils that are plant-based. The design of the candle is absolutely beautiful and I love how it looks on my fireplace mantle. The tomatoes smell is fresh and fragrant, it smells like real tomato plants in the garden! The basil scent is also spot on and very pleasant. The scents are genuine and not artificial or unnatural in any way. Overall, this is one of my favorite scents and I can't recommend it enough

I received a WoodWick- Tomato Leaf & Basil candle from TryIt, and this small candle is packed with great scent! I really like that it is a soy-coconut wax mix base and the added essential oils is perfect. When you are finished with the candle reuse the jar! A win, win! The wick burns evenly everytime I have to relight it!

I wanted to love this candle. Out of the box it was beautiful. I love the dark glass container, the wooden wick is beautiful and the label is very chic. The smell was amazing, very surprising honestly. With the name of the scent I really wasn't sure but it smells amazing. BUT, once lit, I didn't smell it at all. I don't have a very big house, and after over an hour of burning it, we couldn't smell it at all. That was disappointing.

This is such a lovely smelling candle to me. I love to garden and it's like I brought my garden inside my home! The tomato leaf and basil scent is so unique and beautiful to me. If you are an avid gardener that loves the fresh smell of cut basil and tomatoes then this is a delightful candle to try. I really like that it is made with upcycled materials and essential oils. This is a beautiful candle with a nice design and I like the wood look top with the amber glass. It is very beautiful and I am so pleased!

Not going to lie when I first saw this candle I thought it was such an odd combination but it smells sooo good. It’s crazy I would have never thought of tomato and basil as a home fragrance. The design of the candle is pretty and I like the wooden wick it burns better. I will definitely be trying more of these scents

I just got my WoodWick - Tomato Leaf & Basil yesterday. It smells AMAZING I put it in my room and my entire house smells great. I recommend these to everyone I'll be buying more. These candles are long lasting there's a variety of different dents. I love mine thanks for such a great candle.

Interesting!
This is surely an interesting smell. I don’t get much tomato but basil smell is there. A little disappointed that the fill of the candle is just above half the candle jar, don’t think that’s much value.

Unique Scent
I find that Wood Wick candles can be hit or miss when it comes to the throw on the scents. This candle was not for me, but I could see where others would love it.
The outside packaging is really nice and classy. I love the added cork top as it brings something extra. It could easily be given as a gift.
This was a smaller candle with a very unique smell. You get more of the basil than the tomato, but you do get a nice mix of both. I find that when burning the smell is exactly like when you smell it not burning. I found the throw pretty good on this one too as it did smell up our kitchen area when lit.
I love the wick which is something this brand is known for. It does give a slight extra crackle when burning.
Even though I was not a huge fan of the scent, it is a great candle.

Relaxing
I love WoodWick Renew Small Tomato Leaf & Basil Candle. I like that they are made of upcycled materials, even the glass jar is made out of recycled glass. The plant-based soy coconut wax blend is excellent quality. It smells amazing and burns nice and even. The gentle crackling of the wood wick is soothing to listen to and sets a nice ambiance for a relaxing evening.

I got the dud
I would not judge the series by this candle because it was obviously a dud from the get go. I'm not one to ask for refunds/exchanges, but I did on this one. The rating has nothing to do with the candle/fragrance, but with customer service and the glassware. The customer service dealing with an exchange was exceptional. This was the first time I purchased or even saw a candle with tinted glass. I hesitated to try it because the tint was so dark, but WOW! I really love the tinted glass. Very soothing to the eye!

Oddly satisfying
This is one of those lovely oddities that you stumble upon only a few times in life. It smells like your fingers would if you pinched a tomato plant leaf and a basil leaf in your garden on a hot summer day. With maybe a hint of black pepper. Sound weird? It is! Pungent, sweet, warm, spicy, green… it’s lovely. This is a memory-making scent.
