This is cute when you look at it but the design is strange when the candle is lit. In a darkened room with the candle on, all that’s illuminated are the trees in the design. You can’t see the witches.

Disappointed it doesn't illuminate more
I should have read the negative reviews. All that shows when the candle is first lit are the trees and little bats that are hardly noticeable. The witches should have been etched around their outline so they illuminate. Also when the candle burns down about 2 inches the top the topper is totally black. Wasted my money on two of these.

I love the look of all the lamp shades Yankee puts out! This one is adorable too. The only thing is the witch is hard to see when the candle is lit in the dark, however, you can see the pretty trees light up. If you don't plan to burn in the dark, I think you will enjoy this product.

Very nice, but dark.
Very beautiful, but dark when lit. As I read before, you can NOT see most of the work on this piece, when lit by only the candlelight from within. Only the trees light up. But it is still an impressive piece. The colors are beautiful.

Dark Witch Shade
I liked this candle shade when I saw it. I know you cannot see the witch that much, but witches are supposed to be dark. I have not used it yet, October 1st I will use it, and see how it looks lit.

This candle shade fits perfectly on a original large jar candle, not so much on a tumble candle. It is a loose fit on the tumble candle and could possible cause damage to Flying Witch Shade.
