Rated 2 out of 5 by from Scent not right I bought some of these last Sept. and a few more right before Thanksgiving. I thought an evergreen scent like Balsam and Cedar would be suitable for using right after Thanksgiving until spring. Unfortunately, the first one I used did not smell like the candle version at all. It had a very unpleasant scent that was neither balsam nor cedar. What came to mind was a really bad, cheap men's cologne. I gave it a week or so but I couldn't stand it and had to throw it out. I mentioned this to my sister, who to my surprise told me she had one, too, and had just thrown hers out because it made her car smell so bad! I haven't opened the others I bought yet. I'm hoping it was a bad batch or something and that the rest of them smell great like the candle does. Car Jar scents seem to be a more limited selection than they used to be years back, it will be disappointing if Balsam and Cedar is truly a dud.
