Description
To enjoy your candles to their fullest, a certain amount of care is required. Keeping their wicks trimmed properly will help your candles burn fully and last longer. Specifically, your candle's wick should be trimmed after every 4 hours of burn time. Let the candle come to room temperature, then trim the wick to 1/8-inch before relighting. That length helps create complete combustion, which means less soot is formed while the candle is burning. This is where our Perfect Wick Trimmer comes in - place the bottom of the trimmer flush with the candle surface, rock the trimmer back so that its "elbow" rests on the surface, this keeps the trimmer at a 45-degree angle and helps ensure the cut is to the proper length. Simple! Enjoy your candles and their fragrances, then repeat again after every 4 hours of burn time.

Not a fan.
Not a fan of this thing. Should've saved my money and just kept using scissors! It leaves wax on it and black soot. Have to wipe it off every time and doesn't cut to boot!

Beautiful, but very disappointing
The colors on this wick trimmer are gorgeous, but the blades seem dull and just barely effective. It does cut the wick, with effort, but I don't understand the rave reviews for this product at all. A good pair of scissors would cut more easily and cleaner. The only thing going for it is that supposedly the tilt allows you to get the perfect wick height every time, but the the info surrounding that claim in almost non-existent (no good photos or instruction for proper use to get the optimal wick height). Other than the look, it's a very inferior and overpriced product in my opinion. One of my stars is simply for the pretty colors.
